A blast has hit a building in Turkey’s largest city of Istanbul, leaving at least one person dead.
According to reports, fire crews are on the scene and continuing their emergency efforts.
After the explosion, police arrived at the scene, in addition to a large number of paramedics.
Locals claim the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak. Authorities are still on the scene investigating the incident.
