29,605 people have died in Turkey because of the earthquake, according to the Turkish Emergency Coordination Center SAKOM.
In Syria, there have been 3,576 deaths because of the earthquake. 2,168 of these deaths happened in areas controlled by rebels, according to the White Helmets. Another 1,408 deaths happened in areas controlled by the government, according to the Syrian health ministry.
The White Helmets have stopped looking for survivors because of the earthquake. They think the number of people who have died will go up.
A 10-year-old girl named Cudi was saved after being trapped under rubble for 147 hours in Hatay, Turkey.
In the same area, a man named Mustafa Sarıgül was rescued after being trapped under rubble for 149 hours. But as time goes by, there are fewer and fewer stories of people being rescued.
