Approximately a thousand people were evacuated from the Pohl district of the German city of Cologne after an American bomb of World War II was found on the land plot.

It is noted that the evacuation touched living in a radius of up to 300 meters from the place where the bomb was found weighing 0.5 tons.

The evacuated population was placed in the neighboring district of Deutz.

According to local authorities, the bomb will be disarmed today.
